Overview
Around the world, many countries, including Mexico, are facing environmental issues like climate change, global warming, and the greenhouse effect. In Mexico, the top three environmental problems are air pollution, lack of clean water, and deforestation. These issues result from increased tourism and the combined impact of waste from cities, industries, and agriculture. Vehicles are the main culprits, responsible for 76% of the country’s air pollution.
This program allows you to make a difference for future generations and explore the rapidly developing country of Mexico in a unique way – by connecting with nature. Caring for the environment should be part of our nature, and this is where your journey begins.
This project is located in the beach town of Puerto Escondido and encompasses various initiatives that can significantly benefit the community and the environment. We engage in a wide range of activities that are beneficial for the local ecology. We encourage you to diversify your tasks to gain knowledge from different aspects of the project. We also recommend incorporating creative and original activities into your lessons and tasks on the job site. Together, we can help pass on the knowledge of environmental issues to the next generation.
